Cold air enters the area through cold metal windows. To avoid this, you need to change the window mode. This will surely prevent the loss of hot air from inside due to the tight placement of the window in the window frame. We’ll try our best to present the process in more detail․

Switching windows to winter mode

Step 1. First of all, it is necessary to clean the frame from the accumulated dust, wipe the metal parts of the fittings with a soft cloth, and apply lubricant on the moving parts.
Step 2․ Then open the shutters, find the clamps. They are like small cylinders, coming out of a hexagonal depth. The quantity depends on the width of the leaf. They are located on the edge next to the handle. When you open the window, you can see them immediately. There are clamps both at the bottom.

Step 3. Each clamp should be brought to maximum rotation using a six-point lock or pliers. In general, the rotation is carried out in a clockwise direction. The direction of rotation depends on the type of clamp ․ If it is oval, then the rotation should be horizontal, if it is round, then it should be done on the side of the street. When adjusting some windows, you need to "pull" the buttons towards you, and after winter mode, return them to their original position.
Step 4. Close the leaf. To make sure that the transition was made correctly, you can check with a paper. If it is not possible to insert it between the leaflets, then the adjustment has been made correctly.
